Clones Canal Festival
The annual Clones Canal Festival and Soap Box Race is a weekend of fun for all the family culminating in a daring soap box race which now attracting contestants from across county Monaghan and neighbouring counties.
From the festival launch on the Friday to the main race on Sunday the festival is is great fun. n recent years the event has included a massive charity truck show, fun runs, cycle races, kayaking, trips along the Ulster Canal, a farmers market, arts and crafts stalls and live music throughout the weekend.
