St. George's Heritage and Visitor Centre

St. George's Heritage and Visitor Centre tells the story of Leitrim, its landscape, its history and its people through an audiovisual presentation. A central theme is 'Twin Traditions', the mingling of Gaelic and planter cultures. St. George's has been a place of Church of Ireland worship for nearly 200 years. Fully restored for church services its airy interior is lit by the glowing colours of stained glass. It provides a superb venue for concerts and other cultural events.
