Tullaghan

Tullaghan lies along the coast road overlooking the broad Atlantic. The road connects Co Sligo with Donegal and the holiday resorts of Bundoran, Mullaghamore and Rosses Point are within close proximity of Leitrim's most northerly tip at Tulllaghan. Tullaghan has two and a half mile coastline and is also the site of an ancient High Cross (9th-10th century) discovered on the shoreline after a storm uncovered it. The cross had been erected in 1778 by the local landlord, Dickson.
