Blacklion

Blacklion, is a small village close to Lough MacNean and the border with Fermanagh. Blacklion is connected to the town of Belcoo in Fermanagh by bridge. A very scenice 9-hole golf course, the Cavan Way walking trail, the Marble Arch Caves, Florence Court and Neven Maguire's renowned MacNean House & Restaurant garauntee that visitors have lots of things to do in the area.

The Burren Forest is located near the village and is a fascinating complex of megalithic tombs, ancient hut sites, walks and field walls. A key site in the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark, the Burren forest offers an intriguing insight into the lives of life in the area in ancient times. Visit the Tourist Office in the Market House in the centre of the town for information on all attractions around Blacklion.
